HR Advisor - KAF, Afghanistan - TAX FREE
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a committed and experienced HR Advisor to work for a leading North American Defence Contracting Company on Kandahar Air Base, Afghanistan.
The HR Advisor organizes, coordinates, and implements HR Services initiatives, programs and processes under the direction of the HR Supervisor for the purpose of supporting all business aspects of the Project through the application of well-developed skills in planning, practical knowledge, problem solving, communication, and relationship building.
Dimensions:
The HR Services Advisor advises and coordinates numerous HR issues within the field of HR Services for the Company
Specific Accountabilities:
- Serves as a Project subject matter expert regarding all matters related to HR Services which includes but is not limited to: HR policies, performance management, employee recognition, orientation & administration of employee records.
- Maintains, updates and holds the Project leave records, ensuring that compliance and controls are in place
- Coordinates the annual review and maintains records of the annual Code of Ethics and the Affiliate Code of Conduct forms
- Assists and advises on the development of HR policies
- Assists with and/or prepares various HR reports and returns
- Coordinates and maintains records of the annual salary review
- Develops and maintains productive working relationships with Project personnel, and other HR staff
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the HR Supervisor.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- University/College Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Five years direct experience in Human Resources field
- Excellent organization skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to express ideas/solutions in a clear and concise manner
- Possess a high degree of business acumen, good decision-making skills, and strong problem solving abilities
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Access applications
Package
30,000 EUR per annum
At the current exchange rate this equates to 290,500 ZAR per annum
Rotation of 6 months in and 1 month out
Accommodation, food, laundry etc is all provided.
