We are currently looking for a number of Chef Managers to work on various military bases throughout Afghanistan.
You will be working for one of the world’s leading contract catering companies in the region.
The Prime Objective of the role is to:
* To maintain the smooth running of the kitchen operation including menu rotations, food ordering.
* To maintain and improve the quality of food and service.
* To Maintain and increase hygiene and all HACCP.
* To carry out organised training sessions
CURRENTLY OUR MAIN FOCUS OF RECRUITMENT IS FOR CHEF MANAGERS IN THE SOUTH OF AFGHANISTAN ON THE FORWARD OPERATING BASES (FOBs). HERE LIFE IS TOUGH, AS THE CAMPS ARE NEWLY BUILT AND ARE VERY PRIMITIVE, SLEEPING CONDITIONS ARE TENTS AND CRIBS. DAILY LIFE CAN BE VERY TOUGH, WE ARE IMPROVING CONDITIONS BUT DUE TO THE RAPID INPUT OF TROOPS INTO THE REGION WE ARE PLAYING CATCH UP WITH REGARDS TO DEVELOPING AND BUILDING BETTER AMENITIES.
WORKING ON FOBs GIVES YOU AN EXTRA USD 300 per month.
We are able to pay Euro 2920 per month, with a yearly Bonus Euro 6000. That is EURO 41,000
This equates to -
GBP 2640 per month, with a yearly bonus of GBP 5440. That is GBP 37,120
Or
USD 4150 per month, with a yearly bonus of USD 8500. That is USD 58,300
We will also provide all Medical, Accommodation, Meals, local transport, laundry, 3 fully paid return flights to home country per year, & 63 days leave per annum( this is split into 3 blocks of 21 days leave)
We have multiple roles and are looking for at least 25 Chef Managers currently , all applicants must be ex military or must have worked on remote sites such as oil fields/rigs etc.
