Job Details: HSE Manager – Iraq – 6 month contract
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and committed Health and Safety Manager to work for a leading international support services company.
The work will mainly be in Iraq however may also include stints in Afghanistan, Kuwait and the UAE.
This will initially be a 6 month for the contract but there is the possibility of work beyond the initial 6 month contract.
The successful Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for:
• Health and Safety training for staff
• Updating and amending company policy documents
• Be a lead on ISO 9001 quality procedures and audits
• Maintain company safety records
• Recommend safety changes
• Assist with document writing for new project bids
Personal Requirements:
• Must have formal Health and Safety Qualifications
• Previous experience of ISO 9001 is highly desirable
• Previous experience of working in Iraq is advantageous
Package:
• Whilst in Iraq leave will be 90 days in and 21 days out
• Flights to and from home country are provided
• Accommodation provided
• Food provided whilst in either Iraq or Afghanistan
