Reports are often heard about workforce exploitation by renegade agents throughout India, Sri Lanka and other parts of the developing world. These agents charge the workers exorbitant fees to find placements, a practice that is to the detriment of both the candidate and client.
Millar Cameron is wholeheartedly against such practices and outspoken in our condemnation of them. We assure all clients and candidates that we apply the same principles for recruiting foreign country nationals as for UK nationals and will never charge candidates fees.
We recognise the pitfalls inherent with remote location placements and can reassure our clients that we take every step to ensure that the candidate is fit for purpose. This includes ‘trade testing’ whereby we use our local facilities to ensure each candidate has the requisite qualifications or skills and can perform to the client’s standards.
Millar Cameron is also able to manage pre-placement requirements including medicals, police and security checks, visa applications, banking, travel and accommodation arrangements.
